The Van Andel Arena, in Grand Rapids, Michigan played host to three great bands on April 28th. Out of all three bands I was used to seeing live, only one of them was Shinedown.

Monday at Van Andel Arena you couldn’t have asked for a better day to be outside waiting in line to go in. The temperature outside was about 80 degrees. Little did I know it was going to get hotter inside the arena with the pyros going off.

While other people were home I was out at the show for a sonic rollercoaster ride. Music= Energy+Frequency+Vibration.

Morgan Wade: Is a singer/songwriter doing vocals and guitar and is from Floyd, Virginia. Country music is her genre. I enjoyed the country music and some of my favorite songs on here is The Party Is Over and Total Control.

The hardest part of a tour is the opening act. Morgan Wade did a great job keeping people watching the show.

Beartooth: The band consists of Caleb Shomo on lead vocals/studio instruments, Oshie Bichar on bass/backing vocals, Conner Denis on drums/backing vocals, Zach Huston on lead guitar/backing vocals and Will Deely on rhythm guitar/backing vocals. The band is from Columbus, Ohio and was also known as the Noise.

The band is on tour in support of their album titled The Surface: Deluxe Edition featuring the new single titled “Attn.” All these songs rock out so full of energy. I can relate to the song I Was Alive it’s a visual masterpiece. Some people never live and then one day they die. I would rather live and be alive that’s why one of my hobbies is covering concerts and another is writing and composing music.

Shinedown: The band is made up of Brent Smith on lead vocals, Barry Kerch on drums, Zach Myers on guitar/backup vocals, and Eric Bass on bass/backing vocals/piano/guitar. Shinedown is on tour in support of two new singles titled "Dance Kid Dance” and “Three Six Five”. The band was formed in 2001, in Jacksonville, Florida.

This was the fourth time covering the band and each show is amazing and unique. Each tour had amazing pyros going off to match music masterpieces that the band creates. Some of mine and my family's favorites were not on the list.

The Crow & The Butterfly is one of them. When this song was sung at the Allegan Fair everyone outside the show in the fairgrounds were mesmerized by the song. Everyone stood still to listen to the simply amazing song. Another song is titled 45 which is very visual and I feel is an amazing song. Another that is listed on here is the Simple Man song (Lynyrd Skynyrd) cover song. Shinedown honors our fallen heroes with an amazing cover. I love both of the new singles ATTN. and Three Six Five.
