Saint Asonia with Another Lost Year, Coldville and All Is Faded

Saint Asonia
Another Lost Year
Coldville
All Is Faded
at
The Music Factory
Battle Creek, Michigan

Saint Asonia rocks The Music Factory in Battle Creek, Michigan last Thursday December 17th.  Saint Asonia brought Another Lost Year on tour with them and two Michigan opening bands All Is Faded and Coldville.  It was a rare treat to see Saint Asonia on Thursday night.

The Music Factory in Battle Creek, Michigan hosted the concert.  The venue is small and only holds 500 maximum capacity which makes it good to see famous bands up close and personal.  This would be the place to go to with the concert goers only two to three feet from the stage.

Grace Potter and Rayland Baxter rock the State Theatre

Grace Potter
and
Rayland Baxter
at the
State Theatre, Kalamazoo, Michigan

The State Theatre in Kalamazoo, Michigan was host to Grace Potter and Rayland Baxter this last Sunday night.  The State Theatre in Kalamazoo was a refreshing change of pace that this reporter is use to the auditorium style rock and metal shows.  The concert that evening was theatre style seating for everyone watching the show, I was usually use to standing and moshpits.

The State Theatre has it’s own unique flare to it on the inside.  The theatre consisted of a main seating area then a balcony overlooking the stage as well.  The theatres architecture of the inside was very eye catching and relaxing. This is a hidden gem worth visiting if you haven’t visited before.

Here's To The Fallen But Not Forgotten updated 10-03-15

Never Ending song condensed and simple.
Here's To The Fallen But Not Forgotten
Verse 1: Abbott, Bonham , Burton, Cash, and “Chi” My world stopped turnin the day you died.

You went off of the earth and into the sky why did you have to spread your wings and fly.
Verse 2: Clark, Cobain, Dio, Elvis and Morrison People's world stopped turnin the day you died,
they held candle-light vigils they sat and cried.

Chorus: I could imagine there's a jam session going on up in heaven going 24/7.
Verse 3: Harrison, Hendrix, Jimmy “The Rev.”, “MCA“ and Rhoads My world stopped turnin the day you died, And life isn't fair, death isn't fair.
Does anyone care?

Verse 4: Scott, Staley, Van Zant, Vaughan and Williams My world stopped turnin the day you died.
People judging you and judging me and label you and label me.
What gives them the right they're not the one that gave the blind sight.

Chorus: I could imagine there's a jam session go on up in heaven playing 24/7. And they're all looking down at the people playing their music loud and proud. Dan Spratt (nosforotu poet) 10-3-15

Mozart, Beethoven, Van Gogh I was listening to your music and viewing your art only hoping to see what you saw in the notes and brush strokes.  The music and art lives on inspiring people hundreds of years from now people will still see a little threw the eyes of notes and brush strokes to see.  While you’re in heaven for eternity.

Note:  Versus and choruses can be adjusted to any band's taste one after another that would make it an endless cycle of different names based on each band’s preferences.  This is an infinite song because people die every year to be added to this and is the only one in exsistance.
This is an open copyright an invite for all forms of music genres to create their own song page just keep to the title.  One page stack on the beginning page and on and on and on.  Honoring musicians that passed away that inspired your band.  Copyright your own page but add it to page 1 as we go.

Five Seconds Of Summer with Hey Violet at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, Tinley Park, IL

Five Seconds Of Summer
with Hey Violet
at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre 08-01-2015

This article is dedicated in loving memory to Jamie Carr.

Five Seconds Of Summer brought the rock to Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre last night bringing with them Hey Violet.  I decided to write a non-AP style report for the simple reason I dedicate this photo album to a 19 year old young lady that is in Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan.  She had my assistant reporter and I promise to take point and click pictures to share with her and we did this is that album.

Jamie is my assistant's best friend that has gone on years of rock and metal adventures with out family covering everything from Rob Zombie to Five Finger Death Punch to Slayer and all the way to Detroit last year to see Five Seconds Of Summer.  During that time to now she was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer so she couldn't make the show.  Five Seconds Of Summer won my metal and rock heart over last year at the Detroit show.

They have a great stage presence that appeals to pop and rock.  They touch more on rock doing Green Day cover songs and their styling has a taste of Green Day in their music as well as other styles.  Hey Violet warmed up the crowd for Five Seconds Of Summer making it a fun time.  Great rock roll sound that made the crowd cheer.

This is a great match for Five Seconds Of Summer on tour it made for a fun time all night.

Club Fever, South Bend, Indiana

Last Friday night in South Bend was perfect weather for people waiting line at Club Fever.  But Club Fever was about to get a storm.  A sonic storm that was going to melt some faces off.

The storm consisted of Three Days Grace, Young Guns and Romantic Rebel.  My assistant and I took special interest because of the great line-up of three bands we never reported.  At Club Fever the crowd poured in fast to make it to the first opening act.  Some just ready to have a good time and one work friend of mine celebrating his birthday in style, rocking out.

The Intersection, Grand Rapids, Michigan hosted an amazing show last Sunday the 17th of May.  The Intersection is a great venue to get up close and personal with the bands.  Most of the bands do meet and greet before or after their show at their merchandise tables.  Most having a decent deal on cds and shirts.

But for this show The Intersection picked a great lineup of bands to keep the crowd interested in rocking out and having a great time.  My view of the lineup was like riding on a roller-coaster and you are gradually going up higher and higher until you reach the top.

Then the drop is the sonic thrill ride of it all.   The true test of all the bands is to connect with the crowd to a point that the crowd forgets about all worries of bills or working the next day.  And the crowd experiences all the senses stimulated and not just one.

Incite Better Left Unsaid Spades And Blades Fear No Tomorrow Raise Hell on St. Patrick’s Day at Smith’s Tap And Grill Mishawaka, Indiana

Incite raises hell at Smith’s Tap And Grill in Mishawaka, Indiana on Saint Patrick’s day, March 17th.  In support of Incite’s album "UP IN HELL", they raised a little hell bringing with them Better Left Unsaid, Spades And Blades and local band Fear No Tomorrow.  This was a great way enjoy the holiday in Irish country, experiencing great metal and drinking some Guinness beer at the bar with the bands. The reason I call this Irish country is that the University Of Notre Dame is in the neighboring city of South Bend, Indiana.

Smith's Tap And Grill is the perfect venue to go and meet your favorite bands when they play there. When you think of great metal and hear the name Cavalera that makes it a must see concert. Richie Cavalera and his band Incite carries that metal flag with pride.
