Last Monday, the Deltaplex Arena hosted the bands, Ghost and Nothing More. 
It was a cool windy evening in Grand Rapids, Michigan; the people waiting in line
could feel it but it didn’t matter.  The workers at the Deltaplex Arena were very
helpful and hospitable to all the concert goers.  

There was a mixture of people in line that were interesting to see.  There were
hard rock fans, metal fans, and then there were people dressed as evil priests
and evil nuns. The priests and nuns were all wearing upside down crosses to
be eye catching.

The Intersection in Grand Rapids last Saturday played host to Nothing More and bringing with them My Ticket Home, Palisades and Hell Or Highwater.  Saturday night was a perfect 83 plus degrees outside with a light breeze to make it enjoyable waiting in line.  The only storm was the sonic storm inside the venue with four bands.

The Intersection is our home away from home because of the friendly atmosphere that the people at the Intersection make happen. One good example is some parents brought their son who couldn't see over the rail at the front of the stage. So one of the security guards gave him a stool to sit on to see above the rail. 

I decided to write a small revue of Nothing More’s new album “The Stories We Tell Ourselves.”  I didn’t have the opportunity to buy the album but was following Nothing More on www.spotify.com.  I listened to the total album about four times while writing this article.

Five Finger Death Punch brought with them three great band which caused a sold out show at the Deltaplex on Sunday September 21.  Most people on Sunday were watching football games. We decided to turn the tv off and see four great bands amaze all that went.

Each of these bands were so good that either one could headline the show.  When you get a sold out show that will tell you what the fans like to listen to.  The first band Nothing More had the task of warming up the crowd for the other bands and they got the crowd going crazy with their show.

Chevelle supporting their album, La Gargola bringing with them Middle Class Rut and Nothing More to The Orbit Room, Grand Rapids, Michigan on Monday April 21. Chevelle, Middle Class Rut and Nothing More drew in the crowd at The Orbit Room. The line stretched throughout the parking lot braving the of and on rain showers. The loyal rock fans found it was well worth the wait and getting a little wet.
